Step-by-step quick guide on how to create a WhatsApp quiz :
Step 1: Log In or Sign Up
- Click here and log in with your email address or Google account, or sign up if you do not have an account. Select your account to continue. If you’re signing up for a new account, you’ll need to verify your phone number on WhatsApp.
Step 2: Create a new quiz
- Click on “Quizzes” in the navigation bar. Select “Create Quiz” to create a new quiz.
Step 3: Customize message
- Write a message your recipients will send in WhatsApp to start the quiz and press “Save”.
Step 4: Enter quiz name and description
- Give your quiz a name and description so your recipients will know what the quiz is about, and press “Save”.
Step 5: Create your quiz questions and answers
Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ):
- (a) Create the quiz question.
- (b) You can create up to five multiple choice options.
- (c) Select the correct answer.
- (d) Write the answer explanation.
- (d) If you have supporting multimedia content for your quiz, you can upload them as images, PDF documents or slides, videos, and audio for every question.
- (e) Once done, click “Save”.
- (f) Click “add question” to create more questions.
- (g) Click “Continue” when done with all your questions to move to the next step.
Free Response Questions:
- (a) Select the “Free Response” option.
- (b) Create the question. For example, you could ask participants for their names (“What is your name?”) or gather feedback at the end of the quiz.
- (c) Note that free-response questions are not scored by default.
- (d) To enable scoring, click to turn it on.
- (e) You can add up to five suggested answers or options for scoring.
- (f) For assistance in creating these options, click “Suggest with ChatGPT”.
Step 6: Collect and track your quiz responses on WhatsApp
To track quiz responses, switch on the “Enable Notifications” slider to receive notifications on WhatsApp with each quiz completion. You can also customize the quiz link to your liking. Click on “Save” to move ahead.
Step 7: Publish WhatsApp Quiz
Click on “Publish” to generate the quiz. Please note that the quiz cannot be edited after it is published.
Step 8: Share your quiz on WhatsApp

To share your quiz in WhatsApp, click on the “WhatsApp” icon, create a sharing message and then click “share” to share the quiz with your WhatsApp group or individual chat.
